This document supplements the Ad Publishing Rules with regard to the specifics of live animals. Animals are not ordinary goods — special ethical and legal requirements apply to them.
6.1.1. The Zooelon platform adheres to the principles of responsible animal treatment in accordance with ethical standards and the legislation of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
6.1.2. Selling and purchasing animals is a serious decision with long-term obligations. Users must act responsibly.
6.1.3. The Administration actively combats: keeping and trading animals in poor conditions; selling too young animals; spontaneous impulse purchases; illegal trade of wild animals.
6.2.1. Selling animals that have not reached the minimum age for weaning from their mother is prohibited:
6.2.2. Selling animals younger than the specified age is only permitted in exceptional cases (with the mother, medical indications).
6.2.3. Listings with young animals must contain the date of birth.
6.3.1. For dogs and cats, the following are mandatory: initial vaccination (for animals over 2 months old); anti-parasite treatment (internal and external); veterinary passport (or veterinarian's certificate); absence of clinical signs of disease.
6.3.2. For all species, recommended: veterinary examination before transfer; provision of health documents; informing the buyer about possible issues.
6.3.3. Selling visibly sick animals without informing the buyer is a violation leading to account blocking.
6.4.1. For purebred animals, it is recommended to have: pedigree (for registered kennels); puppy/kitten card; birth certificate; breed origin documents.
6.4.2. For all animals: veterinary passport; owner information; vaccination history; personality traits and care conditions.
6.4.3. Selling documents separately from animals is prohibited.
When selling, the Seller must inform the buyer about: the animal's age and origin; health condition and medical history; personality and behavioral traits; care and feeding conditions; information about parents (for purebreds); availability of certificates and documents.
In addition to general rules: selling animals with the promise of "no documents"; selling animals as "decorative" when the species is not such; selling animals with injuries and congenital defects without disclosure; selling animals as "gifts" without the recipient's consent; breeding unsuitable pairs without regard to genetics.
6.7.1. Minimum age of the mother at first litter: dogs — after 1 year, considering the breed; cats — after 1 year; rabbits — after 6 months; others — according to veterinary recommendations.
6.7.2. Maximum litter frequency: large breed dogs — no more than once every 1.5-2 years; small breed dogs — no more than once a year; cats — no more than twice a year.
6.7.3. Breeders must ensure: proper housing conditions for parents; veterinary care; socialization of the litter; responsible selection of buyers.
6.8.1. Recommended: personal transfer with the buyer's ability to inspect the animal; signing a purchase agreement (for expensive/purebred animals); transfer of all documents; care instructions.
6.8.2. Not recommended: sending animals via couriers without escort; transfer without personal acquaintance between buyer and seller; transferring an animal to a minor without parental consent.
6.9.1. By purchasing an animal, the buyer accepts obligations for: providing proper housing conditions; veterinary care; preventing cruelty; complying with sanitary standards; observing care rules.
In addition to general prohibitions: selling animals for fighting; selling animals as "bait"; selling animals for medical experiments without a license; selling animals for religious or magical rituals; selling animals caught from nature without special permission.
Due to the special nature of living animals, special rules apply to returns, as set out in the Refund and Exchange Policy.
6.12.1. The Platform encourages the activities of shelters and volunteers.
6.12.2. Listings about transferring animals from shelters "to good hands" are posted for free and prioritized in search results.
6.12.3. Additional privileges are provided for verified shelters.
