9.1.1. The Zooelon platform applies a comprehensive set of measures to enhance transaction security and prevent fraud.
9.1.2. Important: no system guarantees 100% protection. Users' compliance with rules is the foundation of security.
Technical measures: User verification; Rating system; Secure chat; Listing moderation; Anti-fraud system; Suspicious account blocking; Phishing protection.
Organizational measures: Platform moderators 24/7; complaint hotline; user security training; cooperation with law enforcement.
Seller selection: prefer verified Sellers (green checkmark); study ratings and reviews; check registration date (avoid newly created accounts); carefully read listing descriptions.
Communication: communicate only in Platform chat; don't switch to third-party messengers before identity verification; ask specific questions; request additional photos/videos if needed.
When buying an animal: require veterinary documents; for purebreds — pedigree or puppy card; insist on personal meeting and inspection; don't transfer money before receiving the animal; check the animal's overall condition; ask about parents and care conditions.
When listing: accurate information; own high-quality photos; real price; quick responses.
When communicating: don't share personal data; communicate in Platform chat; be wary of suspicious offers.
When receiving payment: verify receipt of funds before shipping; keep receipts and correspondence; use safe payment methods.
From Seller: unusually low prices for purebred animals; refusal to show animal in person; demand for prepayment to personal card outside Platform; urgency ("selling today only"); evasion of specific questions; inability to contact by phone; use of others' photos.
From Buyer: offer to pay "through an acquaintance" outside Platform; wanting to receive goods before payment; requesting shipment to another city without verification; overly complex payment schemes.
"Courier" scheme: Buyer asks to ship animal "via courier" to another city, not wanting to meet. Money "already sent" but never arrives. Protection: only personal handover.
"Bank impersonator": Buyer sends "bank notification" with phishing link. Protection: verify receipt only in your own bank/app.
"Larger sum return": Buyer "accidentally" sent more and asks for the difference back. Original transfer turns out to be fictitious. Protection: don't return funds until original transfer is confirmed.
"Non-existent kennel": Seller poses as a kennel, shows others' photos, demands prepayment "for reservation". Protection: check kennel verification, require video call.
"Document substitution": Animals sold with forged pedigrees or vaccination cards. Protection: verify documents with breed clubs, require veterinary examination.
Don't transfer money: at the slightest doubt, suspend the transaction.
Save evidence: screenshots of correspondence; listing data; payment information; User contacts.
File a complaint: via "Report" button in listing card; email: report@zooelon.uz; via Support section.
For financial losses: contact law enforcement; file a chargeback claim with your bank; submit collected evidence to investigators.
Automatic checks: suspicious activity detection algorithms; cross-checking listing photos with stolen image database; checking contacts against fraud databases; financial transaction monitoring.
Incident response: immediate account blocking; removal of all listings; warning victims; transferring data to law enforcement.
Banking cooperation: LLC "Dasta" cooperates with issuing banks and payment systems to identify suspicious transactions, block fraudulent operations, and refund victims.
